Scientists find that hard-working people can live longer than idle (不工作的) people. Career women are healthier than housewives. Evidence shows that the jobless are in poorer health than the job-holder. A report shows that whenever the unemployment rate (失业率) increases by 1%, the death rate increases by 2%. All this comes down to one point: Work is helpful to our health.
Why is work good for health It is because work keeps people busy, away from loneliness. Research shows that people feel not only unhappy but also worried when they have nothing to do. Instead, the happiest are those who are busy. Many high achievers who love their careers feel that they are happiest when they are working hard. Work serves as a bridge between man and reality. By work, people come into contact with each other. If people take part in some activities, they can find friendship and warmth. This is helpful to health. The loss of work sometimes means the loss of everything. It affects man in spirit and makes him easy to get ill.
Besides, work gives one a sense of fulfillment (充实感). Work makes one feel his value in society. When a writer finishes his writing or a doctor successfully operates on a patient or a teacher sees his students grow, they are happy beyond words.
From the above we can know that the more you work, the happier and healthier you will be. Let us work hard and study well and live a happy and healthy life.
12.Who can live longer, hard-working people or idle people
13.What does the writer want to tell us in the first paragraph
14.How do people feel when they don’t have anything to do
15.What do you think hard work can bring us (Write 30 words or more)

Many people dream of becoming social-media stars. But for most who work as content creators, just making ends meet (维持生计) is not an easy thing.
Clint Brantley has been a creator for three years, posting videos on TikTok, YouTube and Twitch. Although he has more than 400,000 fans, his income last year was still not as much as those of common U.S. workers in 2023. The 29-year-old is unable to pay rent now. The money he gets arrives irregularly, mainly from online tips and sponsors (赞助商).
Earning a reliable income as a social-media creator needs hard work—and it’s getting harder. Platforms are giving less money for popular posts. Sponsors are being pickier (挑剔的) about what they can get from the deals.
A few creators have enjoyed quick success, making this job the top of career wish lists for many teens. But behind this, creators say the job is tiring. They need to produce posts continually or accept the risk of losing influence. They spend their days planning, filming and editing posts while also trying to get support from advertisers and interacting with fans.
Like other self-employed (自由职业的) people, creators don’t get paid holidays, health care, or other benefits that companies typically provide for their workers. Creators, in the meantime, are having a harder time attracting viewers, because of algorithm (算法) changes and other factors beyond their control.
Topic: The 16 vs. the reality of being a social media star
Introduction Most creators find it 17 to make a living.
A creator’s life Clint Brantley has over 400,000 fans but earns 18 than common U. S. workers. He is unable to pay rent now because his income doesn’t arrive 19 .
A job full of challenges Platforms and sponsors are becoming less generous with money. Creators must post a lot to 20 losing influence on fans. Creators do all the work themselves: planning, filming, editing, and keeping good relationships.
A job short of social support Creators don’t have benefits like paid holidays or health care. Changes in algorithms and other factors they can’t control influence the 21 of their viewers.

Why is being a content creator the top of career wish lists for many teens (Answer with no more than 8 words.)

In early 2025, JD.com entered China’s food delivery market, challenging Meituan, the industry (行业) leader. The world is developing fast because of technology and its uses in our lives. This means that the jobs we have now are changing, and that there will be new jobs in the future. What’s more, you won’t be in the same job your whole working life—you’ll be more likely that you will change jobs every few years—especially when you’re early in your job.
There are ways to be prepared for future jobs by building different job skills. It’s a good idea to start developing these skills early, so you will be ready to jump into these future jobs as they appear.
Understanding Digital (数字的) Information
Everything is becoming more digital, which means understanding digital information will be important to succeed in the future jobs. You need to know how to understand and use digital technologies—both software, and hardware—as well as knowing how to read and understand online information.
If you can understand and use digital information, you will be able to learn it quickly and use it to solve problems and make decisions.
Being Creative (独创的)
No technology can match the creativity of the human mind, and many future jobs will need people to come up with new ideas and put these ideas into real use. This means it is very important to think creatively about problems. If you can imagine ways to solve problems and make new products, you are more likely to be successful in the future jobs.
64.What are the changes in jobs because of the development of technology
65.How can people be prepared for future jobs according to the passage
66.What is the possible result of not adapting to the changes in future jobs
67.Which skill do you want to develop for the future job Why (Give at least two reasons)

Hey, Captain Lim,
First of all, I would like to say that it is a great pleasure to be able to speak to an experienced pilot who knows what life is like in the sky.
I am a 13-year-old girl and for as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to be a pilot. I would spend hours watching the planes at the airport take off from the runway. I love the feeling of packing my bags, traveling to some places that I have never explored (探索) before.

My dad says I need to make a quick decision because now is the right time to start training. It’s true. I want to start early. A designer is a person who has ideas. But that’s not all. A designer plans how to make those ideas happen. A set of steps should be followed.
Step One is defining (界定) a problem or need. A theater puts on a show. Actors wearing costumes act on a lighted stage. Set designers design the stage sets. Lighting designers decide what lights to use. Costume designers choose clothes for the actors to wear. Together they form the design team. They share the same need, which is making the show happen.
Step Two is defining a successful result. The desired result is different for different kinds of designers. A fashion designer designs clothing styles. Because stores need people to keep buying, fashion designers need to design clothes that people will buy. The clothes should be different from older clothes.
Step Three is to describe the situation as it is now. A landscape designer plans outdoor areas. The designer looks carefully at the piece of land. Is it flat or hilly What kind of soil does it have What plants grow well in that soil How do people want to use this land The designer uses all the information in planning.
Step Four is to understand the user. The designer needs to know who will use the product. Software designers write computer programs. They think about the user sitting in front of the screen.
Step Five is to make a detailed plan. Architects design buildings. They plan the size and shape of each room, and decide what materials to use. All the details are on a drawing called a blueprint. The builders will follow this blueprint. The building will be exactly like the plan.
Last but not least, designers should work with other people to turn the design into the real thing. Fashion designers need people to sew the clothes. Landscape designers need workers to plant the plants.
Designers are artists, scientists, and inventors. They work in the present, but they are planners for the future.

93.How does the design team make the show happen on the stage in Paragraph 2
94.Who should the designers try to understand
95.What drawing is a new house built based on

I was 68 when I first stepped onstage as a stand-up comedian. I’d never set foot in a comedy club before. But after the 9/11 terrorist attack, I started to think about trying comedy because I realized that people needed to laugh again. I took a few classes, tried to work out a routine (常规流程), and finally collected the courage to get up onstage. That first time was terrifying! I could expect what the audience would think of me the first time they saw me.
In New York, comedians are typically young men. It’s hard enough to break through as a woman, and even harder as someone old enough to be their grandmother. A booking agent said, “Perhaps you were in the wrong place.” As I stepped onstage that first time, people were clearly surprised and doubtful to see an old woman. I introduced myself, stated my age and tried my first joke. There was silence. But by the time I got to the third line, people were finally laughing properly. After the whole performance, the same agent clapped his hand and presented a bunch of flowers to me, saying “Oh, you were so great.” I was more attracted by this job.
Even today, I’m nervous before I step out. My first line is, “Hello, everybody, I’m almost 88 years old. I’m telling you that in case I don’t make it all the way through the show.” Then people laugh and I relax.
I realize that what I am determined to do is much more than my own personal growth. After a show, people young and old come up to me saying what an inspiration I am. They say they want to be as active as I am when they reach my age, I’m pleased that I can show others that, as an older person, you don’t need to take a back seat in life.
Last year, I was recognized as the oldest woman stand-up comedian in the world. But I have no plan to stop my comedy work. I hope to still be performing when I’m 100. My goal is to still be up there making people laugh.
