For the 23-year-old Zhang Liang, physical disability has never been an obstacle (障碍) to stop him from achieving success.
Zhang, from Susong County, Anhui Province, has a condition called “brittle bone disease”. This is a rare illness that makes his bones very weak since he was a child.
Though often fractures (骨折) meant he could not walk on his own, he stayed positive and hard-working. In 2022, Zhang used a twister car (扭扭车) to take the national college entrance exam, touching the hearts of many people. His hard work paid off. He did well in the exam and got into Anhui Polytechnic University.
Getting rid of the twister car and walking on his own was always Zhang’s dream. After entering the university, with the help of his professor, he and several classmates formed a small scientific research team to design a set of special wearable devices.

Customers ordering a meal from Shake Shack in Los Angeles may have their next burger delivered (运送) by a robot on wheels.
The fast food restaurant, which sells burgers, fries, milkshakes and more, is working with Uber Eats and Serve Robotics to bring customers their orders using a robot that drives itself from the restaurant to their home.
When ordering a meal from Shake Shack through the Uber Eats app, customers in Los Angeles are given the option to have their food delivered by a Serve robot. Customers can then track the robot on its journey from the restaurant to their address, just like any other delivery.
The robot is around a meter tall and looks like a box on four wheels, with two lights at the front which look like eyes. According to reports, the robots can carry up to23 kilograms at a top speed of 11 kilometers per hour-and they only travel on sidewalks.
