Hi, I’m Li Ming, and I live in China!
The panda is my favourite animal. Pandas are not only cute but also a symbol of peace in
Chinese culture. They are our national treasure. On March 16, we celebrate Giant Panda Day
to raise awareness about protecting them.
Pandas look unique. They have soft black-and-white fur, round faces, and dark patches around
their eyes. Their strong teeth help them chew bamboo, their favourite food.
Pandas are interesting animals. They spend most of their time eating and sleeping. Although
they look lazy, they are excellent climbers. Baby pandas often play on trees or roll around like
little balls. Pandas also have a good memory. They can find their way back to places with
enough bamboo even after a long time.
Sadly, pandas face many challenges. Their forests are shrinking because of human activities
like farming and building roads. Some people also hunt them illegally. To help pandas, we
should protect their habitats and support wildlife conservation programs. Let’s work together
to keep these lovely animals safe!

Hi, I’m Emma, and I live in Australia!
The koala is my favourite animal. Koalas are not bears—they are marsupials!
They are a symbol of Australia’s unique wildlife. On September 30, we celebrate National Koala
Day to remind people to protect these special creatures.
Koalas look adorable with their fluffy gray fur, round ears, and big black noses. They have sharp
claws to climb trees, where they spend most of their time. Koalas eat only eucalyptus leaves,
which are toxic to most animals but safe for them!
Koalas are calm and sleepy. They sleep up to 20 hours a day to save energy because eucalyptus
leaves don’t give much nutrition. When awake, they slowly climb trees or munch on leaves.
Mother koalas carry their babies (joeys) in pouches for six months. Koalas also communicate with
loud grunts or bellows.
Sadly, koalas are in danger. Their homes are destroyed by bushfires, land clearing, and droughts.
Many get hurt by cars or dogs. To help koalas, we must plant more eucalyptus trees, protect their
habitats, and avoid disturbing them in the wild. Let’s keep koalas safe for future generations!

The lion is my favourite animal. Lions are known as the "King of the Jungle" and symbolize
courage and strength in African culture. They are an important part of our wildlife. On August 10,
we celebrate World Lion Day to raise awareness about their conservation.
Lions have a majestic appearance. Males have large manes around their heads, while females are
slightly smaller and lack manes. They have sharp claws and powerful jaws for hunting. Lions live
in groups called prides, which include females, cubs, and a few males.
Lions are social animals. They work together to hunt and protect their territory. Cubs love to play,
which helps them learn survival skills. Lions communicate through roars that can be heard up to 8

Sadly, lion populations are decreasing. Their habitats are shrinking due to farming

them. To help lions, we need to protect their habitats, support anti-poaching laws, and educate
