Over the past decades, sharks’ population has dropped quickly.This not only due to fear of sharks and widespread misunderstanding about them,but also the demand for shark fins.
As students, we can act to reverse this crisis. First, educate others. We can raise the awareness of protecting sharks through posters,social media,or school presentations—for instance, highlight that only 10 shark species may attack humans. Second, be a conscious consumer. Refuse shark fin products and encourage families to choose sustainable seafood. Third, support conservation. Join beach cleanups to reduce ocean pollution.
