When we reached the mountains, we were greeted by beautiful views. The tall trees and fresh air made us feel comfortable. We decided to hike up to the top of the highest mountain. Along the way, we saw beautiful flowers and heard the sound of birds.
At the top, we enjoyed the wonderful scenery (景色) of the valley (山谷) below. We took lots of photos to catch the moment. After spending some time enjoying the scenery, we started to hike down. On the way back, we stopped at a warm mountain cabin (小木屋) for lunch. The food was delicious, especially the homemade bread.

Travel is fun and exciting. You need to keep healthy during the trip. There are three things you should remember when you travel.
Give your body some rest. A holiday should be a time for relaxing. But very often it is not. You may spend a lot of time walking around so many places, such as museums, shops, parks and so on. This can make you exhausted. A tired body means a weak body, and a weak body may get ill. So when travelling, remember to stop walking and sit down for a few hours in a nice place.
Enough sleep is also important. You may have trouble in sleeping at night. Maybe your hotel room is noisy. Then you should plan to sleep for an hour during the daytime.
At last, remember to eat well. That means eating the right kinds of food. Your body needs fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as some meat, milk or cheese. Besides, be careful about how much you eat. Eating too much is not good for you.

六、任务型阅读
阅读短文,回答下列问题。
Do you like to travel alone (独自旅行) Or do you think it’s better to travel with friends If you’re still deciding, please read on.
Traveling alone really shows you what you’re made of and helps you find the inner strength (内心的力量) you didn’t know you had. And it also gives you time to think and learn.
It’s easy to think that traveling alone is lonely (孤独的). Although that may sometimes be true, you’re hardly ever alone. When you travel in a one-person team, you can enjoy the most interesting part of travel—talking with the locals (当地人) and meeting travelers from all over the world.
In fact, traveling to know about the world is not easy. There’s lots of information to look up, tickets to buy, and things like these. And there’s another thing to worry about: Things can and often do—go wrong. One of the great things about traveling with friends is being able to help each other.
It’s true that traveling with others can give you a sense of safety (安全感). You know that if you get lost or get things lost, there’s someone to hold your hand when you try to tell it to the police in another country.
There’s no right or wrong way to travel. Whether you travel alone or with friends, it’s up to you.
