The Gold Coast family holidays are always great fun whether you are from Australia or from abroad. There are beautiful beaches, adventure parks, nature parks and so much more.
There are so many sights to see here. It is a pity to drive a car and you'll miss a great part of it. Australia is home to many animals and birds that can only be seen when you move slowly and go into the areas where they live.
When you are on a bicycle, you have the strength of being able to stop whenever you want to see an interesting animal or bird that you have never seen before. It is a quieter way of transportation as well,so you might even be able to take a picture. When you are on the beach, you can breathe that clean air and view the beauty of the water and sand. It is a totally different experience from either simply sunbathing or passing it in a car.
There are many choices of hiring a bicycle to experience the Gold Coast attractions. There are stores that will fit a bike perfectly to your size. These bikes for both adults and children are in many styles and colors to please any taste. If you have ever wanted to try a tandem bike(双人单车),it is your chance now, because they have those too.

People who like travelling have their reasons. They believe that travelling can help them expand their field of view, especially in the geographical and historical sense. They also think that touring will give them more chances to enjoy different kinds of food and experience new things that would never be brought by other activities. But those who dislike travelling also have some reason.
Travelling,in my opinion, does more good than harm. Most importantly,it broadens(使扩大)our mind. We can get in touch with other civilizations(文明),cultures, customs and ideas.
Through history, most people travelled because of necessity(必要性)—not for pleasure. People travelled just in order to remain alive. They searched for food to eat or places to live in. They sometimes ran away from enemies. This is not to say that no one ever travelled just for fun of it. In ancient times, for example, rich Romans travelled all the way to Greece to take part in the Olympic Games, and festivals. Of course, some people decided to travel just out of curiosity. They wanted to find out what it looked like beyond the horizon(地平线).Also business travel has been going on for centuries. Traders could not only make money but also learn to speak several languages and be introduced to different cultures.
So,travelling does enrich our mind and draw new ideas to us. There is no doubt that we can get much from it.

We have most friends at the age of 26 after having spent the first quarter of our lives building up our friendship circle,a new research has claimed.
The research into friendship shows that our social circle peaks at 26 years and 7 months,at which we typically have five close friends. Women are most popular at 25 years and 10 months, with men hitting the highest friendship point a little later at 27 years and 3 months.
The research,by Forever Friends, shows that about a third of adults meet their closest friends while at school, with about a fifth saying they meet them at work.
Social networks such as Facebook and Twitter now also play a major role in building new friendship. The research points out that 25 to 34 year olds make 22 friends via Facebook, compared to 18 to 24 year olds who make 12,and 35 to 44 year olds who make just four.
Forever Friends' relationship coach Sam Owen says:“It is no coincidence that over a third of us meet our best friends at school. It is a key time in our lives when friendship is growing through sharing notes, giving gifts, seeing each other regularly and laughing a lot. As adults we can often forget how powerful these small things are and how the little things can make a difference.”
Later in life we find ourselves losing friends. Over half of us lose friendship through moving, while 36% say that over time they grow apart from close pals. Having children also causes 19% to drift away from childhood friends.
With growing pressures being pat on friendship these days,it's important to make time for our friendship.
