字母y的发音规律
（1）在单音节的词末或重读音节中发/a /，如：shy / fly / apply等。
（2） 在非重读音节中发弱读音/i/，如：busy / happy / lazy等。

英语是一种节奏较强的语言，英语句子中有的词重读，有的词不重读。英语单词中有重读音节和非重读音节，重读和非重读音节在句子中形成一强一弱或一重一轻的变化，这样就形成了英语的节奏。例如：

1.一般来说，名词、动词、形容词和副词等实词多要重读，而冠词、连词、介词、代词、助动词等虚词（功能词）大多弱读。
