I have ever had the most amazing experience—I worked on the radio for the first time!
Last month, our school held a special activity to help us learn about broadcasting, and I was so lucky to be chosen. Early in the morning, I went to the local radio station with three of my classmates. As soon as we walked in, a nice radio host named Mr. Smith welcomed us. He showed us around the whole station. The control room was the most interesting part. There were so many buttons and big screens everywhere. Mr. Smith said the control room was like the “brain” of the radio station because all the sounds came together and went out from there.
The best part came when Mr. Smith asked me to help with the Music Show. He taught me three important things: how to pick good songs, how to talk into the microphone, and how to change the volume. After poor queen Jane died, Henry was very sad and lonely. He wanted a new wife, and he wanted a second son. Children could die at any time, and Edward wasn’t strong. So everybody looked for a beautiful young woman to be the new Queen. Then someone told Henry about Anne of Cleves, a German princess. They said that she was beautiful, young, and clever. Last summer, I went to Qingdao with my parents and we stayed there for about a week. While visiting the beautiful Badaguan Scenic Area, I met Li Hua, a boy from Beijing. While talking, I found that we shared the same hobby—photography! We wandered along the old streets, taking photos of the special buildings.
